ESRB Ratings for Games
The Rating “C” is rarely used but is for 3 and up. in fact i think this is useless because why would any person under the ago of 3 play video games? Also games that are rated C are rarely ever made.
The rating “K-A” is the same thing as everyone but was used instead of everyone before 1998. This is for anyone ofver the age of 6. So this won’t really see this anymore.
The rating " E " is for age groups 6 and older." E " stands for "Everyone" meaning basically everyone who plays games can pla this. Most E games will never have any blood and just action elements and violence at the most.
The rating " T " is for ages 13 and older. The rating " T " stands for "Teen". Most of the games in the industry are teen rated anyway so this is what you will mostly be seeing. Teen games usually have some blood in it, violence, violent scenes, and things of that sort.
The rating " M " is for ages 17 and older." M " stands for "Mature". The game will be rated "Mature" because the game might have too much gore and blood. There can also be profanity, sexual themes/elements, iolence, and most of the things that little kids shouldn’t see.
The rating "RP" means not rated. It stands for "Rating Pending" A game will recieve this rating when it is still in its developmental stage and ESR B is still unsure about what to give the game.
The rating " A " is for ages 18 and older. It stands for "Adult". There are very few Adult games and you will most definelty never find them in normal video game stores. There are no Adult rated nw video games though. There are some Adult rated computer games though.
