This is the very first game I am reviewing for GameCube and it is a nice one too. Mario has always been on the spotlight and always been in every game, while Luigi has been in the shadows. Well Luigi will still be in the shadows of the house, but this time he will have to save his brother. I have played this game a lot and I think it is rather good.  Well I finally got my hands on the American Version and it was better than expected!  At first when I saw all the screen shots, I sat and thought what a crappy game it was going to be but boy was I wrong. Now even though Nintendo is making a Luigi game instead of a Mario one does not mean it will stink.  This is actually very different than the Mario type of game.

The only main problem with the game is how easy it is and how short the game is. The story is rather simple. You are a scared and frightened Luigi who has his mansion haunted with ghosts. You were supposed to meet your brother Mario in your new mansion and he gets kidnapped. It is actually kind of like Ghostbusters’s, which is cool.If you can overlook the strangeness of the game and look at the actual features and game play provided for this game you would see it is not that bad. You have to catch all the ghosts in you mansion and to that you can’t even jump or run!  It is a little hard to get used to catching them but when you do the game will get much more fun. Some ghosts will have you to do a different method than others. So better get used to your vacuum. With the vacuum you can even suck up almost anything in your view. Like lamps and other things, that is kind of fun.

The sound is okay and it could be better but I am not complaining. I rather enjoyed this game and I think you will too.  Actually, I never expected anything special from this game. I knew it couldn’t stink and well it didn’t. I really thought this was not a bad game and it is worth a try.  The main problem once again is how short it is, you could probably beat it in a couple of days, but since this is directed to smaller kids I think it will be harder for them.
