Ok well I have this service called Site Rater. You submit your site and get it rated. Now you might think hey my site has a good layout and informaiton but I get no hits so I won’t get a good rating. Yes you will, in this service hits mean nothing. Even if you get 100,000 but your site isn’t good I won’t give you a good score but most people who get alot of hits have good sites anyway. On the right side is a scale on how I will rate you. I will mostly be giving grades 6 and up but if people don’t have the a good site and seem to not care about it I will go lower than 5. Also every two weeks I will check out all of the sites and see if it has been improved.
To give everyone an example of how I rate sites and how harshly I rate I have rated my self below. Also in the Site Rater we will be looking for information, layout, news, and navigation.

This isn’t given alot. but if you get this it means your site has a not very good layout and/or not very good information.

This will mostly be given to sites that have an okay layout, an okay content, and news.

This is for sites that have good news, and both content and layout.
|

|
This is for sites that are either overall good or are really good at alot of things.
|

|
If you get this high I want a good site overall. great information, great layout, great news, and a nice attitude.

Very good! I won’t give his too often. 10 means your site is very good if not perfect!

Well this is just an example of how I will rate sites so here it goes. This site has a basic layout, but with a little extra. It is also easy to navigate through. The site has a good amount of reviews, but still needs to improve else where as in previews and feature sections.

This is just one of those sites in where you make it in a few minutes by some site maker thing online. These site usually and almost never run and don’t get updated. This site should be improved. For layout, well all it is a big white page, not much of a layout. For navigation, this is only a webpage so there is no navigation except for a few links. The biggest part of the site is information and there isn’t much of that either! There is no creativity except for a few links. The attitude isn’t worth much so it won’t bring the score really very high, but there isn’t anything bad in it.

Sony World

This is one of the better websites that I have reviewed. It focuses on Sony systems, and does a heck of a job too! Now let us get into the rating. I think this is the best layout so far probably competing with RR. Then of course the navigation is very easy to use. For information they have alot for PS2 and PSX. It is nice and also they have alot of things like coverage on games. For creativity they do haev a forum, network, they host people, are a part of a network and even have a branch site that makes designs and layouts!

This is a real nice website. This woudl haev been one of the best layouts but the reason it didn’t get a 9.5 or something is becuase it is too dark. If it was a little brighter it would have been better. The navigations was really good though becuase it was easy and no confusion. As for content since this webiste is limited to only a few games and then there is a whole lot so it is average information. For creativity there was the unique layout and unqiue was of navigation. Also over all the site was just good. This person’s attitude is the best! He was very nice and his site has nothign bad in it. It is all good htings. Also he was kind enough to have my link in his forum.

This site is a very nice one! The layout isn’t complex or anything, it is plain and simple which is really nice. The layout could have been better though. I like the information too. That means the navigation is also very easy. The site is actually two site but have links in one splash page. They have information concentrating on a few games but they have lots of it. The webmasters’s attitude is also good, his updates and all that are nice. He updates his site regulary which is also nice. You can tell from the whole site that he has some different and new things in his site. Nice creativity in my opinion, with many things like an interactive section. This is a very nice site which you should all visit!

Well this is actually the very first site I had reviewed, but now I am re rating them as they have improved. The layout is actally the main improvement. Of course from the good layout, the navigation is good too, like for example in their reviews they catagorize it to make it simplier. After the layout when you look at the info, all you have are reviews and previews. There’s a little articles and things like that, but for a site dedicated to Sony, there’s defiently not enough here. Also the creativity is mainly in the layout, there’s nothing extra in the website, except maybe a forum.
